This privacy policy explains what information ExecutionIQ collects when you use our trading journal, how we use it, which providers process it, and the choices you have. We have kept it specific to what the product actually does.
ExecutionIQ is a behavioral trading journal available at executioniq.pro. It is built and operated by VerdictIQ, based in South Carolina, United States. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean VerdictIQ as the operator of ExecutionIQ.
For any privacy question or request, email hello@verdictiq.org.
When you sign up, our authentication provider, Clerk, collects your email address and sign-in details. We store your email address, your first name if you give it, and the preferences you set, such as your timezone, currency and trading style.
The core of ExecutionIQ is the information you choose to log. This can include symbols, trade direction, entry and exit prices and times, stop loss and take profit levels, position size, risk, profit and loss, commissions, trading session, notes, setups, tags, tagged mistakes, emotional state and other psychology entries, journal entries, goals, challenges, playbook entries and account balance snapshots. We also store the execution scores and analytics we calculate from that data.
You can attach chart screenshots to a trade in JPG, PNG or WebP format. We store these image files with our storage provider.
You can import trades by uploading a CSV file, including exports from Tradovate, TopStep, TradeStation and Interactive Brokers. We read the trades in the file and save them to your journal. ExecutionIQ does not connect to your brokerage account and never asks for your broker login. If you set up a TradingView alert, the alerts you send to your private webhook link are saved as trades.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card and billing details directly. We receive and store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, your subscription status and your renewal date. We do not receive or store your full card number.
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics. It records things like pages viewed, clicks on navigation and buttons, video plays, and a few product events: starting the trade form, logging a trade (including the symbol, direction and result of that trade), and the plan name when you complete a purchase. Our hosting provider also processes standard request data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
We use the information above to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your trade data to show you advertising.
ExecutionIQ uses Anthropic's Claude API for two features. Nothing is sent to Anthropic unless you use one of them.
We do not include your name or email address in these requests. The review or insight that comes back is saved to your account. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider under its own commercial terms and privacy policy.
We share information only with the companies that help us run ExecutionIQ, and only what each one needs to do its job:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Chart screenshots are stored at long, unlisted web addresses. They are not published or indexed anywhere, but anyone who has the exact link to an image can open it. Please avoid uploading images that show information you would not want others to see, such as account numbers or personal details.
If you use a feature that shares part of your journal with someone else, such as a mentor, that person can see the data you chose to include until you revoke the share or it expires.
We keep your account information and trade records for as long as your account is active, so your journal history stays available to you.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. This deletes your login and removes your account and trade records from our database. A few things are handled separately:
You can also ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@verdictiq.org.
You can:
Email hello@verdictiq.org with your request. We may need to confirm that the account is yours before we act on it. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests as that law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to your journal requires you to be signed in, and the app checks that the records you request belong to your account. Payment details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us right away.
ExecutionIQ is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our Terms of Service require users to be at least 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. By using ExecutionIQ, you understand that your information may be processed outside the country where you live.
We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also let account holders know by email or in the app.
